A new and innovative user interface for added convenience

Revamped with a user-friendly interface, including functions that are categorized and displayed in icons, MTR Mobile enables you to effortlessly search for information. What’s more, you can mix and match by downloading other apps available in MTR Mobile (for example: Next Train or MTR Tourist) that cater to your needs. Flexible yet powerful, it’s all you need for an easy and enjoyable journey.

***An enhanced journey planner with comprehensive information***

Search for your route along the MTR simply by tapping on the MTR route map and choose your starting location and desired destination. Fare information, recommended routing, shortest traveling time, interchange, first/last train schedule, station services and etc. will be displayed accordingly. Interchange station information has also been enhanced to include directions that guide you to the correct platform.

***Accurate journey planning with point-to-point search for landmarks around exits***

Planning for your ride becomes much easier with the expanded point-to-point search function. On top of MTR stations, you can also select station exits and popular locations near the MTR network.

***A friendly sharing function to help others***

Bookmark the pages of routes and train service information for future reference or share them on Facebook with all your friends.

***Comprehensive barrier-free facilities listing***

Easily search for barrier-free facilities by categories or stations. Relevant information is also displayed on your journey planner.

***MTR Club***

Also included in MTR Mobile is a redesigned MTR Club user interface. Users can register as a club member, check MTR Club information and view eNewsletter easily. During the promotion period of the Bonus Point Scheme, users can also check their bonus points and redeem their gifts anytime, anywhere!

***Traffic News***

Currently, the MTR has in place a notification system whereby a Red Alert will be issued if train service has been or is expected to be seriously delayed for more than 20 minutes and depending on different circumstances, passengers are advised to change routes or take other means of transport. In addition, severe tropical cyclones or typhoons affecting Hong Kong will also bring adjustments to normal train service levels, with service in open sections suspended when a No. 9 signal is issued.

MTR Mobile informs subscribers when a Red Alert is issued and provides information on the resulting changes in train service. It will also provide advisories on the stepping up and stepping down of train service during typhoons.
